Hello! I am so happy you're here. I'm Ava Conrad a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Mansfield University in 2019 and completed my Master of Science in Nutrition Science/Dietetic internship from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in 2020. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge-Eating Disorder, OSFED, ARFID, and Orthorexia, as well as disordered eating through the Health At Every Size (HAES), intuitive eating, and mindfulness approaches. I am currently under supervision for my Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential to ensure my clients are receiving the most current, effective, and evidence-based care. Through yoga, I also help to facilitate mind/body connection to improve body image disturbances. Eating disorders do not discriminate and I am committed to providing an anti-racism, anti-oppression, and LGBTQ+ safe space for all of my clients. As a recovered clinician, I understand the challenges of recovery and my mission is to empower individuals affected by eating disorders by providing individualized nutritional guidance, education, compassion-centered care, and support in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
